CAP socials are opportunities for people to learn more about
CAP, and to learn how to get more involved. It is an opportunity
to meet our board members, to provide feedback, to ask questions,
and to hear about long range objectives and planning. These events
occur quarterly. Planned dates and locations for these events are
provided below:

 Our
Mission
The Christian
Art Players is an organization whose vision is to bring
quality, year-round Christian theater to northern Cincinnati by
producing clean, family drama that inspires entertains and
furthers the good news of Jesus Christ.
We strive to think beyond the traditional Christmas and Easter
"pageants," as this need is filled by outstanding
productions at a number of area churches. We believe that our
calling is to the body of Christ, not
just one specific local church. We promote unity within the body
of Christ. With this in mind, we encourage Christian people who
share in this vision to participate in CAP productions. Study of Jesus'
use of vivid stories to teach spiritual principles can help us
understand how effective drama can be in reaching the lost, the
fearful, the disheartened, and the lonely. We use His example as a
foundation for one of our guiding principles; theater
is not, in itself, a worthy pursuit. It is the message that must
prevail. For when one soul is saved, one life is
touched, or one heart lifted...by these things, we know we have
met our calling.

Concentrate
on critical issues that impact people in today's hurting world.
Direct
the focus away from the actors and toward Christ the Lord. We will
seek to serve Christ through drama and our actions both on and off
stage.
Engage
people in their search toward, or growth in, through
thought-provoking drama.
Address
emerging needs by developing or selecting pieces that are likely
to produce change toward Christ.
Gather
and utilize contacts and resources from our support networks.
